Description
Here is a sample Event Viewer DCOM error

Date: 12/20/2006
Time: 10:21:50 AM
User: NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE
Computer: XXXXXXX
Description: The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID {nnnnnnnn-F196-11D0-9953-00C04FD919C1} to the user NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE SID (S-1-5-20). (Genuine apart from the XXXXXX and nnnnn)
MVP Dustin Miller has a blog item that explains why this is happening.
(At the time of writing this blog item says it's a solution for Beta2 and Beta2 TR versions but Dustin has confirmed to me that this is also valid for Moss 2007 RTM.)
Here's the link to that blog item
