 I can't import Excel spreadsheets - what could be the reason? 

Description
One known reason is that there is an "Issue" with IE7 that
"SharePoint--Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) cannot import spreadsheets when Internet Explorer 7 is running."

does not specifically say this whether this is a WSS 2.0 or WSS 3.0 issue.
